It is with much regret that we announce Le Chene French Cuisine will again temporarily close its doors starting 7/2/2020. This is due to the recent mandates by our governor on July 1, 2020.
Gift certificates are still available for purchase on our website or over the phone at 661-251-4315. We will also continue to post any updates as they come.
We sincerely thank all of you who dined with us these last few weeks during our reopen, and we are truly grateful for your continued support and patronage during these trying times.

Le Chene French cuisine opened in September 1980 by chef owner Juan Alonso.
Through remodeling and expansions Le Chene has grown in size and customer base to become a true destination restaurant located only an hour from downtown Los Angeles and minutes from the heart of Santa Clarita.
Le Chene is located in a secluded oasis of Santa Clarita, surrounded by centennial oak trees, which is where Le Chene (The Oaks, in French) gets its name. Le Chene is truly a place to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The outside of Le Chene has the look of a small castle, made of river rock. Once you open the door the rock motif continues through the entrance then opens to a large bar overlooking the garden, an underground wine cellar full of mature wine and an open patio shaded by oak trees.
Le Chene Restaurant has been awarded year after year with the Best of Award of Excellence by the Wine Spectator for our wine list. We are fortunate to possess an underground cellar which is ideal for the storage and aging of fine wines.
Over 32,000 bottles are resting and aging in the Le Chene Wine Cellar, just waiting to be enjoyed by our customers. Our wine list encompasses over 900 different French and California wines.
The Le Chene wine collection contains a wide variety of wines, primarily from France and California, including Bordeaux, Burgundies, Cabernet Sauvignons, Merlots, Zinfandels, California and Oregon Pinot Noirs, Chardonnay’s, and many more. If you’re a wine lover, you’re sure to find something in our collection that you’ll truly enjoy.

For an anniversary dessert, they brought us a slice of tiramisu and we had already put in our order at the time that we ordered dinner for our special dessert: A Grand Marnier soufflé￼.
The staff was very accommodating, and we wouldn’t hesitate to come back again....
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. 5 stars.
Juan is more than wonderful!
Had the Filet Mignon Au Poivre wish came with Potatoes Au Gratin and Zucchini. It was very good, perfectly cooked and the sauce was savory. Wife had an appetizer for dinner, Lobster Ravioli, which was a generous portion, and she enjoyed very much. Ordered the Chocolate Souffle early and it was beautiful and excellent, served with chocolate sauce on the side. The house further spoiled us with a White Chocolate Mousse Wedge. What a treat! Never had that before.
Naturally, a place like this it's not a budget conscious restaurant. But I can say it was worth every penny. The food was excellent.
Now for the service. We were somewhat disappointed that they had a very young waiter that wasn't familiar with the wine list and able to provide any guidance. Not that we couldn't decide on a bottle ourselves, however it's always a plus to have either a knowledgeable server or somm to get the best pairings. Other than that and maybe a little more attention to empty water glasses, he was great. Perhaps it was because we went on a not so busy Tuesday.
The ambiance is average. I'm not sure that I'd call it romantic, especially if it was uber busy.
Recommended, but for the food, mostly.

One of my favorites is still the French Onion Soup! And anything with Bearnaise Sauce...lol! Always a plethora of choices for any palette. Le Chene is worth the drive. Try it, you will like it!

We had a lovely conversation with the owners who seem like genuinely nice people. All in all, it was a home run for my husband!!!
